About ASAP54

ACTIVE: 2015 – present

EMPLOYS: 15

Created in 2013 by Daniela Cecilio, ASAP54 is a fashion app that allows users to upload pictures of inspirational images and receive shoppable suggestions.

Innovative image recognition technology detects colour and pattern to match an image with products that can be purchased instantly, and an ‘Ask the Stylist’ feature connects users with a personal styling team who will manually source additional suggestions, if need be, within 24 hours.

Free to download, ASAP 54 is also a social platform.  Users can choose to follow and be inspired by others, as well as shop products which those they follow have searched for.

About The Founder

Sao Paulo native Daniela had an established career in the world of construction before moving into fashion, first with her own fashion line in Brazil, and later as former COO and one of the founding members of fashion portal Farfetch.

It was the frustration of wasting three hours searching the web for a particular pair of vintage Chanel frames, which she had seen offline, that first inspired Daniela to launch ASAP54. Via the app, she intends to change the way we interact with fashion and bridge the gap between what we see and what we shop.

Daniela was voted runner-up in 2013’s TechCrunch Disrupt Award in Berlin.
