ABOUT JOSEPHINE HOME
Josephine Home was founded in 2006 by former lawyer and city banker Stephanie Betts. Driven by a personal quest to rediscover original bed linen, household textile traditions and its great craftsmen, the company she created now counts prestigious hotels among its clients and international department stores stock its range of luxury homewares.
Offering both bespoke and more accessible products, the British company’s focus is on experience and quality rather than seasonal designs, and it works closely with expert craftsmen to develop products which are exclusive to the Josephine Home brand.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
French-born Stephanie holds degrees from Sciences Po in Paris and New York University.
She started her career as a securities lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell on Wall Street, and then spent 18 years in banking, as a Director at Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan and latterly Citigroup in London.
Stephanie’s vision for Josephine Home was as a result of not being able to find sheets or bedroom accessories that matched the quality and style of her grandmother Josephine's former house in Paris. And what began as a very personal project, spending her spare time going to trade and fabric shows, led Stephanie to decide three years later to leave the corporate world behind and launch her own luxury homewares business.
