FOUNDERS: LEILA ZEGNA, TRACY DOREE,RUSSELL BUCKLEY, MARK EVANS
INVESTMENT: 2015 - PRESENT
Kindred (formerly Spring Partners) is a London-based seed-stage venture firm, founded in December 2015 to back ambitious software entrepreneurs.
The company invests in start-ups in their first two years of business, with funding between £250K and £1M, and can continue to back these companies as they grow beyond £5M. The firm invests at a rate of 10-12 investments per year.
The four international partners that make up the founding team – Tracy Doree, Leila Zegna, Russell Buckley and Mark Evans – all have founding, operating and investing experience, and have been angel investing together for the past three years. Collectively, they backed more than 100 companies before founding Kindred.
Uniquely, Kindred shares the upside of the fund with the entrepreneurs they back, and they actively build services for their community of founders. The company’s mission is to turn founders into partners.
