Merchantry provides multi-channel retailers with an SaaS (Software as a Service) product information management (PIM) solution. This cloud based technology, unlike other PIM solutions, is built specifically for retail, and enables companies to get their products to market faster and more efficiently so that they, in turn, can focus on eCommerce business growth.
Founded in 2004 by seasoned international business leader Eugene Nikiforov and Edward Shenderovich, founder and Managing Director of venture investment company Kite Ventures, New York-based Merchantry was acquired in August 2015 by Tradeshift, and now operates as a subsidiary.
Tradeshift was launched in 2010 by Danish entrepreneurs Christian Lanng, Mikkel Brun and Gert Sylvest. The company provides a global business-to-business platform that helps companies run more efficiently, using cloud-based technology to improve processes such as invoicing, workflow and supplier financing.
The San Francisco-based company currently connects 500,000 businesses across 190 countries, and counts DHL, the National Health Service (NHS) and the French government among its users.
