Founded on the premise of the shared economy and the next disruptor among fashion and commerce, VillageLuxe is an invite-only, premiere luxury marketplace. A peer to peer rental site, graciously dubbed the "Airbnb of high end fashion" by Forbes, VillageLuxe represents millions of dollars in luxury goods from the most coveted fashion brands globally, including Chanel, Hermès, Burberry, Saint Laurent and Gucci, as well as the like-minded women who list their closets and those who borrow. The company is revolutionizing the way women shop for luxury.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Julia Gudish Krieger graduated from Harvard in 2010 with a BA in Economics and a minor in Psychology. Prior to founding VillageLuxe, she spent four years at Insight Venture Partners, where she invested over $100m in fast-growing tech companies across US, Russia, Canada and Israel.
The former venture capitalist started VillageLuxe with an idea on the back of a napkin. Being part of the shared economy and watching businesses like Airbnb, Uber and Lyft take shape, it was a natural segway for Krieger to allow her intellectual curiosity to question the next disruptor in the shared economy. What better than a woman's closet?
Julia was included in Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2017.
