Byronesque is an editorial based e-commerce site and personal shopping app dedicated to designer vintage fashion from the late ‘70s to the early ‘00s.
Aiming to provide an alternative to today's fast fashion culture, the e-commerce site provides access to unique and progressive pieces sourced from the largest network of boutiques and private collectors in the world, curated by a team of leading vintage fashion industry experts.
Editorially, Byronesque focuses on designers and cultural influencers who continue to challenge, excite and inspire today, with specially commissioned articles and video interviews by and featuring some of fashion's current authority figures and creatives.
ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Gill started her career in advertising, first at M&C Saatchi and then as part of the start-up team at Fallon in London before relocating to New York to start an ad agency with Russell Simmons.
She then became the go-to strategic planner for fashion brands and has worked on projects for Chanel, Mulberry, Net-a-Porter, Farfetch and Levis.
Gill is a regular speaker and panel moderator and has spoken at PSFK, WGSN and The International Retail Summit.
Justin is an accomplished photographer and creative director, having worked with Dazed & Confused and Another magazine, and many of the world’s most infamous artists. He has also won a number of awards for his digital and experiential creative work.
