Fusing concept brick-and-mortar experiences alongside a seamless online boutique, MAISON-DE-MODE.COM specializes in unique ready-to-wear, fine jewelry, accessories and home goods. Co-founders Hassan Pierre and Amanda Hearst opened the first MAISON-DE-MODE concept pop-up in December 2012, following a serendipitous meeting between the designer and former editor, and after a few years honing their creative and merchandizing skills with shops in Miami, Washington D.C. and San Francisco, the pair decided to create a permanent home.
MAISON-DE-MODE.COM was launched in October 2015, pioneering the one-stop-shop for the ultimate luxury ethical closet. Each carefully selected product must adhere to standards determined by a set of ‘sustainability icons’: Recycled, Organic, Made In USA, Artisanal, Cruelty Free, Fairtrade, Charitable and Positive Luxury’s Butterfly Mark.
