ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Philipp Rogge (CEO)
Philipp founded the official soup-kitchen of his hometown, Hanover, aged 19, which now serves 250,000 meals a year to people in need. During his business studies in Cologne, New York and Argentina, he co-founded the Passau university’s official innovation symposium and a web-agency. In Cologne, Philipp built up the Curtis Newton Ventures business with business angel Axel Schmiegelow, before moving on to found frents.com, Germany’s first p2p collaborative consumption sharing platform and now largest private ownership network. He was awarded the "Content Star 2011" by the German Federation of Internet Business, "European Green Hero" by Reader’s Digest magazine and has been featured in the press throughout Europe.
Franz Riedl (COO)
Franz graduated from one of Europe’s most renowned universities, the University of St. Gallen (HSG), and started his professional career as a management consultant in the area of Strategy and Innovation. From 2008 until 2012, Franz co-founded an array of online gaming communities in the German market and lead them to strong profitability without taking on external capital. In all companies he was responsible for strategy, online marketing and sales as well as organizational matters and finance. Styla is the fifth company he has built with his extensive set of knowledge and experience.
